Four Palestinians killed in Israeli shelling of a vehicle west of Gaza
Four Palestinians were martyred and others sustained varying injuries this evening in a shelling carried out by Israeli occupation forces on a vehicle west of Gaza City, in a new violation of the ceasefire agreement that came into effect last October 10th.
In a related context, Palestinian medical sources announced the martyrdom of a citizen who succumbed to his wounds in the Mawasi Khan Younis area in the southern Gaza Strip, weeks after his tent was targeted by the occupation forces.
The Palestinian News Agency (Wafa) quoted medical sources as saying that the number of casualties since the start of the ceasefire agreement last October 11th has risen to 387 martyrs and 1,018 injured.
Amid the continued aggression, the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip reported that the number of victims of the Israeli shelling since October 7, 2023, has reached 70,654 martyrs and 171,095 injured, including large numbers of children and women, in addition to entire families that were annihilated.
Palestinian teams continue the process of recovering the bodies of the martyrs from under the rubble of destroyed homes and residential buildings in various areas of the Strip, two years after the aggression.
