In an era of accelerating news and platforms crowded with opinions, many people have become captives of trivialities; preoccupied with petty matters and drowning in arguments that yield neither knowledge nor awareness. The same scenes repeat every day: heated discussions over marginal details, verbal disputes, and illusory victories that leave no real impact on reality. Over time, this state transforms into a psychological vortex that drains the individual, gradually pushing them toward despair, anxiety, and the loss of peace of mind.

Negative argumentation does not seek the truth, but rather dominance. It does not aim for understanding, but for embarrassment or self-assertion. When a person engages in this pattern of debate, they imagine they are alive and interactive, while in reality, they are consuming their energy in dead-end paths. Emotions accumulate, tension rises, and the space for inner calm narrows. This is where anxiety begins to creep in, and dissatisfaction becomes a constant companion, because the mind is occupied with what adds nothing, and the heart is burdened with what does not heal.

Preoccupation with trivialities distances a person from the major issues in their life: from self-development, from building relationships, and from their most important question: what do I want to be? When hours are drained in responses and emotional reactions, no time remains for reflection, no energy for creativity, and no clarity for making mature decisions. With the absence of meaning, the sense of emptiness inflates, and the person imagines the whole world is against them, while the real problem lies in the direction of their compass.

Exiting this vortex is not achieved by withdrawing from life, but by returning to it with awareness. It requires a person to choose their battles carefully and to distinguish between what is worth discussing and what must be bypassed. To learn silence when speech is a burden, and to seek knowledge rather than victory. For life is wider than a screen, deeper than a comment, and richer than a fleeting argument.

When a person decides to lift their gaze above trivialities and invest their time in what nurtures them and brings them closer to their true self, the sense of comfort begins to return. Anxiety subsides, and despair recedes, because energy is no longer wasted but directed toward meaning and value. Only then does one realize that exiting the vortex was not the loss of something, but the reclaiming of life itself.
