A 5.0-magnitude earthquake struck Zoni County in Nagqu City, located in the Xizang Autonomous Region of China, according to the China Earthquake Networks Center.

The quake occurred at 7:59 p.m. today (Thursday), the center reported.

The report added that the epicenter was located at 32.95 degrees north latitude and 88.65 degrees east longitude, at a depth of 10 kilometers below the surface.
