Al-Qadsiah defeat Al-Ittihad 2–1 in the Saudi Roshn League
Al-Qadsiah defeated Al-Ittihad 2–1 on Thursday evening at Prince Mohammed bin Fahd Stadium in Dammam, in the closing match of the 17th round of the Saudi Professional League “Roshn League.”
Karim Benzema opened the scoring for Al-Ittihad from a penalty kick in the 29th minute, while Mexican striker Julián Quiñones scored two goals in the 37th and 59th minutes to lead his team to victory.
With this result, Al-Qadsiah raised their tally to 36 points, placing them fourth in the standings. Meanwhile, Al-Ittihad remained on 27 points, sitting sixth in the table.
