The Israeli Army targets a Hamas leader in an operation in Gaza, confirming deaths and injuries
Hebrew media outlets reported that the Israeli Army carried out a military operation in the Gaza Strip, targeting a “prominent leader” from the Hamas movement. Israeli Army Radio quoted a security official as saying that the target was Raed Saad, who holds the position of Deputy Commander of the movement’s military wing. The Israeli Army indicated that Saad was involved in rehabilitation efforts and the production of combat means.
In the same context, a medical source at Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City reported four dead and a number of injured as a result of Israeli aircraft targeting a car in the city.
In another context, the Israeli Army confirmed that two reserve soldiers were injured this morning in an explosion.
