The new update highlights several advantages:
Instant and electronic tracking of the visa application status without the need to visit any government entity.
Simplification of visa approval procedures to significantly speed up its issuance.
Development of the fee payment system to be easier and clearer via electronic platforms.
Reviewing applications using an advanced electronic review mechanism to ensure accuracy and speed.
Ensuring the validity of the resident’s ID and the visitor’s passport throughout the visit period.
The possibility of entering all data and accurately uploading documents through official platforms.
The Ministry stated that the visa is available to two main categories: Saudi citizens, and foreign residents to bring only their first-degree relatives (parents, wife or husband, children), with the necessity of submitting all required documents to ensure the acceptance of the application.
As for the new conditions for the family visit visa, they are:
Valid residency ID for the resident throughout the visit.
