## Conclusion of Sudanese Culture Week within the “Global Harmony 2” Initiative in Riyadh

The conclusion of the Sudanese Culture Week festivities has been announced, marking the final cultural event within the “Global Harmony 2” initiative. The event was held through cooperation between the Ministry of Media, the General Entertainment Authority, and the Quality of Life Program. The event witnessed a large public attendance from various nationalities at Al-Suwaidi Park within the Riyadh Season zones.

The activities included the participation of a group of elite Sudanese artists and influencers, alongside 70 exhibitors and performers of folk arts. They presented musical and theatrical performances and various heritage segments that embodied Sudanese culture in its different components, highlighting its artistic depth and geographical and social diversity.

The audience interacted with drum rhythms, traditional folk dances, and folkloric shows that evoked Sudanese collective memory. During the festive atmosphere that reflected a spirit of joy and pride in cultural identity, the event highlighted the depth of the brotherly relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Sudan.

The final day of the event saw a remarkable turnout and wide interactive exchange, with the participation of several Sudanese artists and influencers who performed a collection of national and heritage songs. In a celebratory atmosphere punctuated by Sudanese ululations and expressions of joy, the scene embodied sincere interaction and a celebration of cultural history.

Sudanese Culture Week is the last of the cultural weeks within the “Global Harmony 2” initiative, which shed light on 14 global cultures representing residents in the Kingdom. The events were held over 49 days, featuring more than 1,200 cultural and musical performances covering their lifestyles, the diversity of their activities, and the richness of their cultures, establishing the Kingdom as a global model for cultural coexistence.

The initiative’s activities included qualitative participations numbering about 3,500 exhibitors and performers who provided shows ranging from folk arts to performance arts. Additionally, 400 participants took part in cultural pavilions and bazaars, which reflected the richness and diversity of the participating cultures.

The “Global Harmony 2” initiative succeeded in highlighting the cultural diversity in the Kingdom and the aspects of integration and harmony between residents and Saudi society. It also shed light on the efforts of the governmental and private sectors in enhancing the quality of life in the Kingdom’s cities.
