Cristiano Ronaldo Wins Best Player in the Middle East Award at Globe Soccer Awards Ceremony

Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, captain of the Al-Nassr Saudi Football Club first team and the Portugal national team, was crowned Best Player in the Middle East at the global Globe Soccer Awards ceremony.

This coronation comes as an honor for the outstanding levels Ronaldo provided on an individual level with his club, Al-Nassr, in addition to his significant influence on and off the field and his unique leadership of his team, enabling him to continue garnering individual awards and challenges, confirming his status as one of the greatest football players in history.

In a related context, the ceremony witnessed a sweep by the French club Paris Saint-Germain, which won the award for Best Club in the World. The club’s president, Nasser Al-Khelaifi, was crowned Best Club President, while the team’s coach, Luis Enrique, won the Best Coach award for 2025.

At the player level, Spaniard Lamine Yamal won the Best Attacker award, Paris Saint-Germain and Portuguese national team star Vitinha won the Best Midfielder award, and Désiré Doué received the Best Emerging Player award, while Raphinha won the Best Player in the Spanish League (LaLiga) award.

In the agents category, Jorge Mendes received the Best Agent award for 2025, in recognition of his successive successes in the global football transfer market.
