E-commerce Sales via “Mada” Cards Reach 30.7 Billion Riyals in the Kingdom During October 2025

E-commerce sales in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia via “Mada” cards recorded their highest monthly levels ever during October 2025, with a total exceeding 30.7 billion riyals, achieving an annual growth of 68%.

The increase amounted to approximately 12.4 billion riyals compared to the same period in 2024, when sales recorded about 18.3 billion riyals, according to the statistical bulletin issued by the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) for October 2025.

Sales during the third quarter of this year reached a total of approximately 88.3 billion riyals, continuing their quarterly growth by 15.2%, an increase estimated at about 11.6 billion riyals compared to the level of 76.6 billion riyals in the second quarter of the same year.

On a monthly basis, sales during October 2025 recorded a growth of 6%, an increase of about 1.6 billion riyals compared to September of this year, when sales reached about 29.1 billion riyals.

When comparing performance from January to October 2025, “Mada” data showed a growth in e-commerce sales of 47.3%, with an increase estimated at about 9.9 billion riyals compared to the 20.9 billion riyals level recorded in January of the same year.

It is noted that these figures include payment and purchase transactions executed via “Mada” cards through e-shopping websites, applications, and digital wallets, and do not include transactions conducted via credit cards.
