Freeze lifted on Egyptian artist Abdulrahman Abu Zahra’s accounts following ministerial directives
Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) – The Egyptian Tax Authority announced in a statement on its official Facebook page, Wednesday, the lifting of the “freeze on the accounts” of Egyptian artist Abdulrahman Abu Zahra. This comes hours after his son, Ahmed, announced that the authority had frozen his father’s bank account.
The statement noted that the head of the authority, Rasha Abdel Aal, confirmed her personal follow-up of the great artist’s tax file to resolve any existing issues. This action comes in implementation of the directives of Ahmed Kouchouk, Minister of Finance, to facilitate matters for taxpayers and remove any obstacles.
