Saudi Minister of Tourism Ahmed bin Aqeel Al-Khateeb met with investors in the tourism sector at an unconventional location within the city of Hail, relying on the city’s unique character and avoiding formal halls.
The meeting took place yesterday evening at “Sahab” Park, which carries authentic Haili heritage features, including a heritage-inspired traditional tent (Beit Sha’ar) surrounded by palm trees and overlooked by the region’s mountains, in a warm nocturnal atmosphere reflecting a distinctive Haili social gathering.
The investment dialogue between the Minister and investors blended with the beauty of the surrounding environment, reflecting Hail’s tourism potential and confirming its presence as a promising host for winter visits and diverse experiences.
Al-Khateeb confirmed in a tweet on Twitter that the meeting was fruitful, bringing him together with a selection of investors in the sector. He noted that it included discussions on promising prosperity prospects for the tourist region, the foundations of empowerment provided by the Saudi tourism ecosystem, and the stimulation created for future investments that enhance Hail’s status as an attractive tourist destination while creating qualitative job opportunities for national cadres.
The Minister of Tourism promised to continue the commitment to empowering tourism investment in a way that supports local economic development and ensures its sustainability for the benefit of the region and the Kingdom.
On another note, the Minister of Tourism continued his tour in the Hail region by visiting several heritage sites, including the Al-Surour Cultural Museum, which he described in a tweet as a model of sincere effort reflecting the identity of the place and transforming a tale into a living memory. He pointed out that such initiatives aim not only to be displayed to visitors but to deepen the tourist experience and grant the tourist destination its unique soul.
