flynas Launches Direct Flights Between Moscow and Jeddah

flynas, the world-leading low-cost carrier and the first in the Middle East, has launched its direct operational activities between Moscow and Jeddah. The inaugural flight carried 100 Umrah pilgrims from the Russian Federation.

This step is part of the company’s strategy to enhance air connectivity with the Russian capital and falls within its operational expansion plans aimed at keeping pace with national targets in the Kingdom’s tourism and aviation sectors.

The flight featured the activation of service standards tailored for the Russian market through a Russian-speaking cabin crew to ensure an efficient travel experience and provide quality on-board services. Reception procedures and arrival facilitation for guests were completed at King Abdulaziz International Airport in Jeddah, reflecting operational readiness to accommodate increasing flows from this route.

flynas officially began operating three regular weekly flights linking Moscow’s Vnukovo International Airport and Jeddah starting December 23. This increases the number of available air routes from Russia, adding this strategic path to the (Riyadh-Moscow) line launched last August—the first regular air service linking the two capitals via a Saudi carrier—thereby establishing the company’s competitive presence in the Russian market.

This expansion is part of flynas’s strategic growth plan under the slogan “We Connect the World to the Kingdom,” in parallel with the National Civil Aviation Strategy targets to enable national carriers to connect the Kingdom to 250 international destinations, reach 330 million passengers, and host 150 million tourists annually by 2030, in addition to supporting the “Pilgrim Experience Program” goals to improve the efficiency of pilgrims’ access to the Two Holy Mosques.

It is noteworthy that flynas, as the leading low-cost carrier and the first airline to be listed on the main Saudi market (Tadawul), manages an extensive operational network of 139 routes to more than 70 domestic and international destinations in 30 countries, with over 2,000 weekly flights. The carrier has successfully served more than 80 million passengers since its launch in 2007 and aims to increase its destinations to 165, fulfilling the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.

Flights can be booked through all booking channels, via the website www.flynas.com, the flynas mobile app, the 24/7 call center (920001234), or through travel agents.
