Israeli air raids on areas in south and east Lebanon
Our correspondent in Lebanon reported today, Friday, that Israeli warplanes launched a series of raids targeting several towns in the south and east of the country.
The correspondent said that Israeli warplanes raided and struck several villages in south Lebanon, including: Al-Bureij – Jbaa, the heights of Rihan, the outskirts of Ansar – Zrarieh, Tebnine – between Baysarieh and Kawthariat al-Siyad, Jabal al-Rafie and Sijid. Israeli warplanes also targeted the town of Zlaya in Western Bekaa, and an area located between Wadi Houmine and Roumine in the east of the country.
The correspondent confirmed that, as of the hour, warplanes are still flying over the South and Bekaa regions.
The Israeli army issued a statement announcing that it “shelled a training complex for Hezbollah and other targets in south Lebanon.”
