King Salman Center provides aid to a displaced family in central Gaza.

2 Min Read

Yesterday, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center responded to an appeal from a displaced Palestinian living in the central Gaza Strip, who had issued a distress call requesting a tent to shelter him and his children, who suffer from various illnesses and were living in a dilapidated shack, as part of the Saudi popular campaign to support the Palestinian people in the Strip.

Field teams from the Saudi Center for Culture and Heritage — the implementing partner of the King Salman Relief Center in the Gaza Strip — headed to the family’s location, secured a tent, and set it up in a suitable place to serve as a shelter protecting the family from harsh and changing weather conditions, in addition to providing bedding, basic daily necessities, food baskets, and winter clothing for the children.

The family expressed their deep gratitude and appreciation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for this generous humanitarian support, which represented real backing in facing the harsh circumstances and conveyed a message of hope that it has been and continues to stand by them. They also extended thanks to the King Salman Relief Center for embodying the values of compassion and human solidarity at a time when they were in dire need of assistance.

This comes as an extension of the Kingdom’s steadfast positions, through its humanitarian arm, the King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center, in supporting the Palestinian people during various crises and hardships.
