Males accounted for 63% of participants compared to 37% for females, an indicator reflecting the expanding base of sports practitioners and enthusiasts throughout the Kingdom.

In its statement issued today, Wednesday, “Team Saudi” noted that the success of the digital “Burn Them Out” campaign in exceeding the goal of 100 million calories has strengthened the social role of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee in raising the level of physical activity culture among members of Saudi society and increasing the number of participants in various sports, in line with Saudi Vision 2030 and embodying the ability of digital sports initiatives to create a tangible impact.

It is worth noting that the “Team Saudi” application has recorded more than 169,000 downloads since its launch in September 2024, reflecting the growing demand for digital sports platforms. The app is one of the platforms of the Saudi Olympic and Paralympic Committee and part of its efforts in digital transformation and the development of sports ecosystems.
