Mbappe Joins Moroccan Fans in Support of Their National Team at the Africa Cup of Nations
Dubai, United Arab Emirates (United News Network – UNN) – French star Kylian Mbappe joined the stands of Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, Morocco, to send a message of support to the Moroccan national team, known as the “Atlas Lions,” which was hosting its match against Mali on Friday evening.
The confrontation was part of the second round of the group stage in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON 2025), which is being held in Morocco this year.
Video clips widely circulated across interactive media showed Mbappe wearing a Moroccan national team jersey, featuring the players’ names along with the name of left-back Achraf Hakimi, whose number 2 he was wearing in those clips.
It is worth noting that Kylian Mbappe shares a strong friendship with Moroccan player Achraf Hakimi, as they previously played side by side for the French club Paris Saint-Germain, where they achieved several championships, most notably the French League and other titles.
