The Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources and Chairman of the Program Committee for the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NIDLP), Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef, sponsored the NIDLP 2025 Annual Ceremony organized by the program in Riyadh.
The ceremony was attended by His Excellency the Minister of Transport and Logistic Services and Vice Chairman of the NIDLP Committee, Eng. Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser, along with several Excellencies, officials, representatives of government entities, and partners of the national development ecosystem.
In his opening speech, Minister Al-Khorayef emphasized that the NIDLP program has succeeded in building a highly efficient executive system capable of achieving qualitative leaps in the industry, energy, mining, and logistics sectors, in addition to local content and Fourth Industrial Revolution applications.
Al-Khorayef noted that NIDLP’s excellence stemmed from quality execution, interlinking targeted sectors, maximizing economic returns, and creating a positive transformation in the pattern of government work and the prioritization of projects.
The ceremony featured the honoring of entities and sectors that won the NIDLP Excellence Award for 2025, in recognition of their outstanding contributions to achieving national targets, enhancing competitiveness, and supporting the economic transformation journey.
The award winners were selected within a precise governance framework and clear evaluation criteria aimed at enhancing institutional competitiveness and maximizing the program’s developmental impact. This highlights NIDLP’s commitment to establishing a culture of institutional excellence, strengthening integration between executive bodies, and stimulating innovation and investment to contribute to the goals of Saudi Vision 2030.
It is worth noting that NIDLP is one of the pivotal programs of Saudi Vision 2030, focusing on transforming the Kingdom into a leading industrial power and a global logistics platform, and maximizing the added value of the energy and mining sectors, with an emphasis on local content and the Fourth Industrial Revolution.
Over the past six years, the program has succeeded in achieving unprecedented growth in non-oil GDP and creating an attractive investment environment that supports sustainable development and the diversification of the national economy.
