Ministry of Economy and Planning Signs Cooperation Agreement with King Saud University
The Ministry of Economy and Planning has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with King Saud University, aiming to enhance joint cooperation between the two parties in accordance with current systems, regulations, and decisions.
The areas of cooperation include enhancing knowledge exchange through participation in conferences, research seminars, and workshops; providing consultations in the fields of economics and public policy; and cooperating in educational, training, and capacity-building fields. It also aims to enable students to benefit from the Saudi Data Platform as a tool and reference for economic and social information and data.
Furthermore, the memorandum aims to cooperate with the Entrepreneurship Institute and relevant entities to develop the entrepreneurship ecosystem, build competencies, and stimulate innovation, as well as enhance cooperation with advanced research study centers and benefit from human resources and expertise, in addition to any other areas agreed upon by both parties.
The memorandum was signed by the Undersecretary of the Ministry for Economic Policies and Planning, Rakan bin Abdullah Al-Sheikh, and the Dean of the King Abdullah Institute for Research and Consulting Studies, Dr. Abdullah bin Ahmed Al-Thabit, on behalf of the Acting President of the University, Dr. Ali bin Mohammed Musmali.
