The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah urged the guests of God on the importance of moderation when pouring Zamzam water without extravagance, in order to preserve the blessing and contribute to organizing its benefit for all visitors.
In an awareness post via its official account on the “X” platform, the ministry emphasized that the commitment of the guests of God to the etiquette of drinking Zamzam water in the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque embodies the glorification of the sanctity of the place and reflects an awareness of correct behaviors while performing rituals.
The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah stressed the necessity of avoiding the use of drinking areas for ablution (wudu) to maintain general cleanliness and the safety of facilities designated for drinking; it also called for disposing of used cups in the designated baskets.
