Mohamed Salah Celebrates Egypt’s Victory Over South Africa in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations
Dubai, United Arab Emirates (CNN) — Egyptian star Mohamed Salah expressed his happiness with the victory his national team achieved over South Africa with a score of 1-0, in the match held at Adrar Stadium on Friday, as part of the second round of the group stage in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.
Thanks to this victory, Mohamed Salah’s team qualified for the Round of 16 of the tournament held in Morocco, leading the Group B standings with 6 points.
Responding to media questions after the end of the match, Mohamed Salah said: “I am happy with the result; it was a difficult match. The South African players were controlling the game for most of the time…”
