The Moroccan national team achieved a historic victory with the golden goal difference after the match concluded with a 2-2 draw, clinching its second title in the Arab Cup football championship.

Moroccan player Oussama Tannane opened the scoring for his team, the “Atlas Lions,” just 3:35 minutes into the match with a brilliant shot from midfield that deflected off the head of the slightly advanced Jordanian goalkeeper Yazeed Abulaila.

Jordanian striker Ali Olwan responded with two consecutive goals, the first from a penalty kick in the 48th minute, and the second also from a penalty in the 68th minute, putting Jordan in the lead 2-1.

In the dying moments, three minutes before the end of the second half, substitute Moroccan striker Abderrazak Hamdallah scored the equalizer for his team to bring the score to 2-2, forcing the two teams into extra time.

The final match was the eleventh edition of the 2025 Arab Cup, which took place at Lusail Stadium in Doha.

The Moroccan team succeeded in winning the match to claim its second title in the history of the Arab championship, following its first title in 2012, marking its second-ever final appearance.

On the other hand, the Jordanian national team achieved its first-ever appearance in the Arab final throughout its history in the competition, but its attempts to win the title were unsuccessful, leaving them to continue the search for their maiden trophy.
