French Goalkeeper Matthieu Patouillet’s Departure from Al-Hilal Not Ruled Out After Inzaghi’s Exclusion
Media personality Musaid Al-Omari revealed that French goalkeeper Matthieu Patouillet will not continue with Al-Hilal after being definitively excluded from the plans of the team’s technical director, Simone Inzaghi.
Al-Omari explained, in statements during the “Mala’eb” program with Faisal Al-Jafn on “Al Arabiya FM,” that Al-Hilal’s management regrets signing French goalkeeper Matthieu Patouillet, confirming that the goalkeeper did not deliver the required performance during his time with the team.
He added that it is very difficult for French goalkeeper Matthieu Patouillet to play on the field ahead of the brilliant Moroccan goalkeeper Yassine Bounou, who is considered the primary element in Al-Hilal’s goal.
Al-Omari continued that French goalkeeper Matthieu Patouillet cannot be the reliable substitute for Al-Hilal in the future, raising questions about the player’s future with the team.
