Zelenskyy: Meeting with Trump in Florida to Try to End the War in Ukraine
CNN—Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said Friday that he plans to meet his U.S. counterpart Donald Trump in the state of Florida on Sunday, as part of efforts to reach a peace agreement to end the Russian war that has been ongoing for nearly four years in Ukraine.
In remarks to reporters on Friday, Zelenskyy warned that he could not say for certain that the meeting would lead to a final agreement, but he emphasized that both sides would seek to “achieve as many agreements as possible.”
