The Russian Ministry of Defense announced on Thursday that its air defense systems destroyed 17 Ukrainian “fixed-wing” drones between 8:00 PM and 11:00 PM Moscow time on December 11. According to the statement, 15 drones were shot down over Bryansk region, and the remaining two over Rostov region.
It is reported that Ukrainian forces almost daily target Russian border areas in Belgorod, Bryansk, Kursk, Voronezh regions, as well as the Crimean Peninsula, using drones and missiles. Sources indicate that Kyiv’s forces employ these attacks, including drone strikes and artillery fire, against civilians and civilian infrastructure in Russia.
Russian forces respond by targeting only Ukrainian military infrastructure, including defense industry facilities, sites for storage, repair, or production of military equipment, and assembly points of Ukrainian troops and foreign mercenaries.
