Saudi Stock Index Ends Today’s Trading Lower, While Parallel Market “Nomu” Rises

The main Saudi stock index ended today’s trading influenced by a decline of 14.63 points, dropping to the level of 10,526.09 points, with trading values reaching 1.6 billion Saudi riyals.

According to the daily economic bulletin issued by the Saudi Press Agency for the Saudi stock market, the volume of traded shares reached 80 million shares. These transactions included an increase in the share prices of 99 companies, while the shares of 156 companies recorded a decrease in prices.

Shares of Sadr Logistics, Etihad Grunfelder Saadi Holding, Raoom, Astra Industrial, and Riyadh Cables led the gains in trading. Meanwhile, shares of Chemanol, flynas, Leejam Sports, Al-Ramz, and AMAK witnessed the largest percentage declines, with the range of increases and decreases set between 6.60% and 5.96%.

In contrast, shares of Americana, Saudi Kayan, Sadr Logistics, Saudi Aramco, and Etihad Grunfelder Saadi Holding were the most active by volume. Shares of Saudi Aramco, Sulaiman Al-Habib, Al-Masar Al-Shamel, Elm, and Al-Moammar Information Systems witnessed the highest activity in terms of value.

On the other hand, the Saudi Parallel Stock Market Index (Nomu) managed to end today’s trading up by 237.72 points to reach the level of 23,430.93 points, with trading values amounting to 15 million Saudi riyals and a traded share volume estimated at 2 million shares.
