Sierra Life Food Industries opened its new factory in Sudair City for Industry and Businesses in Al Majma’ah Governorate, in the presence of several officials from specialized hospitals and those interested in the food sector. This factory is a strategic addition to the industrial and health sectors.
The inauguration of the factory came as part of strategic trends aimed at enhancing food self-sufficiency, developing local content, creating qualitative job opportunities, stimulating the local economy, and raising the efficiency of supply chains. The project is considered to be meeting the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, contributing to establishing Sudair’s position as an important industrial center for the specialized food sector.
The factory is distinguished by its specialization in producing high-quality food products designed to meet the needs of special medical cases, particularly patients with metabolic disorders. This category of products represents an essential element in supporting therapeutic and preventive plans.
The factory is the only one of its kind in the Middle East and Africa specializing in the manufacture of gluten-free foods, clinical nutrition products, and infant formula products. This excellence is expected to contribute to filling a significant gap in local and regional markets and providing reliable national alternatives.
In addition to the production aspect, the project aims to transfer knowledge and localize technology through specialized programs to build national capacities and develop human competencies in this field, which enhances the sustainability of the local industry and increases its competitiveness.
