Al-Sarami Rejects the Idea of Dispensing with Hamdallah After His Hamstring Tear Injury

Sports critic Saud Al-Sarami commented on the latest news regarding Al-Shabab Club, following the announcement that the team’s Moroccan forward, Abderrazak Hamdallah, suffered a hamstring tear. The player is scheduled to undergo a treatment and rehabilitation program lasting between 6 to 8 weeks.

Al-Sarami noted, during his appearance on the “Mala’eb” program with Faisal Al-Jafen on “Al-Arabiya FM,” that Abderrazak Hamdallah’s season has not been completed as desired with his team, Al-Shabab, in the Saudi League competitions.

In a related context, Al-Sarami rejected any assumptions regarding Al-Shabab Club dispensing with the player, asserting that Abderrazak Hamdallah is a distinguished striker who makes a significant difference on the pitch. Al-Sarami did not hide his praise for Hamdallah’s achievement, having led the Moroccan national team to win the 2025 Arab Cup title just a few days ago.

Al-Sarami highlighted the player’s importance even on the bench, explaining that his presence and proximity to the pitch provide a moral boost to the team. He pointed out that Al-Shabab’s sole goal at the moment is to remain in the Roshn League, predicting that the team will finish the season ranked between eighth and ninth place.
