Saudi Stock Market Index Closes Higher by 1.34 Points
The main Saudi Stock Market index (TASI) closed today up by 1.34 points, ending at 10,590.17 points, with a total trading value of approximately 3.1 billion riyals.
According to the daily economic bulletin from the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), 151 million shares were traded. The shares of 130 companies recorded an increase in value, while 118 companies saw a decline.
The top gainers were SIDC, Raydan, Obeikan Glass, Al Akaria, and Industries. On the other hand, Nama Chemicals, Burgerizzr, Saudi Cable, Al-Jouf, and Chubb led the decliners, with losses ranging between 6.91% and 5.09%.
Americana, Saudi Aramco, Maharah, Chemical, and SNB were the most active shares by volume. Meanwhile, Saudi Aramco, Al Rajhi, SNB, STC, and SABIC topped the list of most active shares by value.
On the other hand, the parallel market index (Nomu) closed lower by 2.72 points, ending at 23,716.41 points. Trading exceeded 10 million riyals, with more than 1.8 million shares traded across 2,025 transactions.
