Saudi Minister of Communications meets global company leaders at the World Economic Forum in Davos

Saudi Minister of Communications and Information Technology, Eng. Abdullah bin Amer Al-Swaha, met with a number of global company leaders on the sidelines of his participation in the World Economic Forum currently being held in the Swiss city of Davos.

During his meeting with Cisco Chairman and CEO Chuck Robbins, Minister Al-Swaha discussed prospects for partnership between the two sides, networking technology solutions, and accelerating innovation in digital infrastructure.

Eng. Abdullah Al-Swaha also met with Sony Chairman and CEO Hiroki Totoki to discuss expanding cooperation in digital technologies, artificial intelligence, and the creative content industry.

The meetings also included a session with Cohere CEO Aidan Gomez to discuss the development of language models and their applications in boosting productivity and enabling technological innovation.

The minister also discussed with Blackstone CEO Stephen Schwarzman quality investment opportunities in the Kingdom in the fields of technology, infrastructure, and data centers.
