Saudi Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar bin Ibrahim Al-Khorayef held a bilateral meeting today, Tuesday, at the ministry’s headquarters with the Syrian Minister of Economy and Industry, Dr. Nidal Al-Shaar, to discuss ways to strengthen economic relations and develop industrial investment partnerships between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Syrian Arab Republic.
At the outset of the meeting, Minister Al-Khorayef expressed his pleasure at Syria’s participation as Guest of Honor in the third edition of the “Made in Saudi Arabia” exhibition, considering it a clear reflection of the depth of fraternal bilateral relations and the economic ties linking the two countries.
The discussions focused on areas of joint cooperation in the industrial sector and highlighted opportunities for Syria to benefit from the Kingdom’s expertise and successful experiences in developing the industrial sector. The meeting also addressed key export opportunities that could support the growth of trade exchange, enhance industrial and economic integration between the two countries, and serve their developmental goals and mutual interests.
This meeting comes within the framework of the third edition of the “Made in Saudi Arabia” exhibition, in which Syria is participating as Guest of Honor under the slogan “We Resemble Each Other,” represented by the participation of 25 Syrian companies showcasing their most prominent products and services at the exhibition.
