The Prince of Al-Jouf receives the Director of Technical and Vocational Training in the region and sponsors the signing of joint employment initiatives.
His Royal Highness Prince Faisal bin Nawaf bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Al-Jouf Region, received today in his office Dr. Marfou bin Al-Ayat Al-Anzi, Director General of the General Administration for Technical and Vocational Training in Al-Jouf Region, and his staff.
His Highness discussed with Dr. Al-Anzi ways to develop and enhance the role of technical and vocational training in preparing national cadres, emphasizing the importance of aligning training outcomes with the needs of the local labor market. The Prince of the region praised the generous and top-level support the technical and vocational training sector receives from the wise leadership—may God support them—in its journey of development and enrichment.
For his part, Dr. Al-Anzi expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Prince of Al-Jouf for his continuous support of the sector, praising his gracious approval to include the field of technical and vocational training within the categories of the Al-Jouf Award for Excellence and Creativity (Bara’ah) for the year 1447 AH. He stressed that this will contribute positively to enhancing institutional excellence, supporting the development of young national talents, and increasing their competitiveness.
Following this, His Highness valued the signing of cooperative memorandums of understanding covering three important employment initiatives:
-
A community initiative in partnership with the branch of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development in Al-Jouf.
-
An initiative to employ graduates of technical and vocational training in cooperation with Arkanat Company.
-
A voluntary maintenance initiative in partnership with the Aseeb Foundation for Humanitarian Work.
These memorandums aim to support the alignment of technical and vocational training outcomes with current and future labor market needs, and will enhance cooperation and coordination with relevant government and community entities. These efforts seek to invest the technical skills of graduates and prepare them to serve the community and promote sustainable development in the region. These initiatives are part of comprehensive efforts to support the technical and vocational training sector and strengthen multilateral development partnerships, in line with the goals and visions of Saudi Vision 2030.
