Thousands of protests planned across America; arrests in immigration demonstrations.

1 Min Read

More than a thousand protests are planned across the country over the weekend to protest the Trump administration’s crackdown on immigration, following the death of Renee Nicole Gode.

Renee Nicole Gode, a woman from Minnesota, became a victim of an increasing crackdown by Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) under the current administration. She was transported to the hospital after being assaulted by an ICE agent and died from a fatal injury a few days later.

Most of the protests were coordinated under the slogan “Out with ICE Forever,” and organizers emphasized that the demonstrations would be “peaceful, legal, and community-led.”
