US President confirms Hamas’s agreement to renounce weapons
President Donald Trump confirmed that Hamas has agreed to give up its weapons, considering that implementing this commitment is “not an easy matter.”
Trump explained in his statements that Hamas was “born with weapons in their hands,” and therefore giving them up is not a simple issue, but this is what they agreed to and they must adhere to it.
The US President indicated that the United States will know within the next two or three weeks whether Hamas will fulfill its pledges, warning that “if it does not, it will be eliminated very quickly.”
Trump also added that 59 countries are participating in the peace agreement, including countries not from the Middle East, but they have shown readiness to participate in confronting Hamas, saying these countries “want to do everything they can.”
Trump touched upon the situation in Lebanon, noting that there is a “problem with Hezbollah,” adding: “We will see what will happen there, but it is an ongoing problem.”
