Trump rebukes Netanyahu.. The White House reveals the reason and the urgent details | un-news.org

The White House sent a strongly worded private message to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, condemning Israel’s failure to comply with the Gaza ceasefire following an airstrike. According to American sources, this violation—which included the killing of a senior Hamas military commander—represents a flagrant breach of the truce agreement spearheaded by President Trump.

The regional and international repercussions of this matter have sparked growing resentment among U.S. officials. Secretary of State Marco Rubio, White House envoy Steve Witkoff, and presidential advisor and son-in-law Jared Kushner all shared in the frustration reflecting the stance toward the current Israeli government.

In a diplomatic statement to Axios, a senior U.S. official explained that the White House message to Netanyahu conveyed a clear and direct ultimatum: “If you want to destroy your reputation and show that you do not abide by agreements, be our guest; but we will not allow you to destroy President Trump’s reputation after he mediated the agreement in Gaza.”

The diplomatic source emphasized that the U.S. administration’s position regarding Israel’s ceasefire violation was unequivocal, inevitably causing widespread dissatisfaction within the Trump administration.

In contrast, an Israeli official acknowledged the Trump administration’s displeasure but maintained that the severity of the American message was less intense, noting that some Arab nations might view the incident as a breach of the ceasefire.

The Israeli official indicated that the Israeli government informed the Trump administration that it holds Hamas responsible for violating the agreement by attacking soldiers and resuming arms smuggling. He added that killing the movement’s military commander was merely a necessary reaction to Hamas’s repeated violations, aimed at reinforcing the continuation of the ceasefire.

These developments come at a time of notable tension between the Trump administration and the Netanyahu government regarding the next phase of the intended agreement to end the war in Gaza, as well as discrepancies over broader Israeli regional policy.
