Relief Organizations in Gaza Confirm Israel’s Continued Blockage of Vital Aid
Relief organizations operating in the Gaza Strip have confirmed that Israel continues to prevent the arrival of vital aid necessary for the Strip’s residents.
In this context, CNN anchor Kim Brunhuber conducted an interview with Iyad Amawi, the Humanitarian Affairs Coordinator in Gaza, to discuss the details of the worsening humanitarian crisis.
Amawi was quoted regarding the forecasts, saying: “We expect within 48 hours—during the next 48 hours, a new storm will strike Gaza again. Therefore, we are in dire need of humanitarian interventions without Israeli restrictions on trucks, and for the allowance of entry for mobile homes, which number more than thousands; our need here is massive, and no one can imagine how bad the situation is.”
