The 13th edition of the Saudi Smart Grids Conference 2025 kicks off today in Riyadh, under the patronage of the Ministry of Energy, during the period from December 15 to 17, under the slogan “Innovating Today for a Sustainable Tomorrow.”
The conference will feature the participation of experts and specialists from 25 countries around the world, with 28 dialogue and technical sessions to be held, reviewing 225 scientific papers related to grid development in various countries globally.
The patronage of the Ministry of Energy for this conference, which is one of the most prominent international events specializing in the future of smart energy and will be held for three days, comes within the framework of the Ministry’s continuous efforts to support development and exchange expertise in fields related to the sector. This comes at a time when the electricity sector is witnessing a radical transformation, in line with the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030, through initiatives aimed at diversifying electrical energy production sources, raising the reliability and efficiency of the electrical grid, and achieving the optimal mix for electricity production.
The conference is an international platform for exchanging knowledge and experiences, and building qualitative partnerships in the fields of smart grids and the digital economy. It will gather an elite group of experts, decision-makers, researchers, and specialists from all over the world.
