The Australian Transport Safety Bureau (ATSB) released footage documenting the moment a skydiver collided with an airplane on September 20, 2025, in northern Queensland.<\/p>\n

The footage shows the skydiver\u2019s reserve parachute handle striking the airplane\u2019s left horizontal wing, causing an accidental entanglement that left the parachute caught on the wing.<\/p>\n

The skydiver managed to cut himself free and survived the incident with minor injuries.<\/p>\n
