The exercise concluded with a comprehensive practical demonstration simulating the handling of a high-risk terrorist stronghold located within a residential area, reflecting the nature of contemporary security challenges that special forces may encounter during operational missions.<\/p>\n

During the final phase, participating forces carried out a joint operation characterized by speed and precision in both planning and execution. The forces successfully stormed the target location, rescued hostages, and secured and apprehended the terrorist elements within a short period of time.<\/p>\n

The scenario also included integrated battlefield first-aid procedures, casualty evacuation, and rescue operations, alongside restoring full control of the simulated city and securing the area, highlighting the high level of coordination and interoperability between the participating units and their ability to manage joint operations efficiently.<\/p>\n

The exercise further showcased the strong integration between Egyptian and Omani special forces throughout all stages of the mission, from intelligence gathering and planning to the execution of the assault and management of emergency situations, demonstrating advanced operational readiness and combat professionalism.<\/p>\n

At the conclusion of the exercise, Major General Abdel Qader Emara Habib<\/strong>, Commander of the Egyptian Sa’ka Forces, emphasized the strategic importance of “Mountain Fortress 2,” highlighting its role in enhancing the exchange of field experience and providing exposure to the latest tactics and combat methods employed globally in special operations.<\/p>\n

He explained that such joint exercises contribute to improving the combat efficiency of participating personnel, offer practical opportunities to develop both individual and collective skills, and strengthen the capability to execute highly complex missions under various operational conditions and environments.<\/p>\n

The commander praised the distinguished performance displayed by the participating forces from both countries, stressing that the discipline, readiness, and professionalism demonstrated by Egyptian and Omani personnel reflect capabilities that qualify them to carry out the most demanding missions with efficiency and competence.<\/p>\n
