The announcement came after shrapnel from the interception of two ballistic missiles fired toward Makkah and Madinah fell in several areas across the Kingdom.<\/p>\n<p>The spokesperson for Saudi Arabia\u2019s Civil Defense said that fragments of the two missiles fell in Wadi Al-Mughammas, east of Makkah, while shrapnel was scattered in the Al-Nuzha neighborhood of Jeddah, Wadi Jalil in Taif Governorate, and the Mustawrah Center in Rabigh Governorate.<\/p>\n<p>Reuters reported that the Houthis had announced carrying out seven military operations using ballistic missiles and drones, targeting airports, oil facilities, and an airbase in Saudi Arabia.<\/p>\n<p>The Houthis said the attacks targeted Riyadh, Dammam, and Najran airports; Khamis Mushait Air Base; Saudi Aramco\u2019s facilities in Yanbu; the Rabigh oil refinery; and the crude oil pipeline transporting oil from the Kingdom\u2019s east to its west.<\/p>\n<p>In another development, Yemeni sources reported that the Houthi group had launched two missiles toward Lahj Governorate in southern Yemen.
