Al-Ittihad defeats Al-Taawoun 1-0 in round 13 of the Roshn League<\/p>\n

Al-Ittihad Club achieved a football victory by defeating its guest, Al-Taawoun, with a single goal in the match that brought them together on Saturday evening at Prince Abdullah Al-Faisal Stadium in Jeddah. The encounter was part of the thirteenth round of the Saudi Roshn Professional League.<\/p>\n

The Al-Ittihad team continued its positive results by achieving its fifth consecutive victory recently, increasing its tally to 23 points and climbing to fifth place in the standings. Meanwhile, Al-Taawoun’s tally remained at 28 points in third place.<\/p>\n

Following the end of the match, Muhannad Al-Shanqeeti, an Al-Ittihad player, expressed his happiness with the team’s performance, stressing that what was achieved was the fruit of collective work. Speaking to the “Thamania” channel, he said: “What happened was thanks to the help of my teammates. My feeling about the award is indescribable, and I say to the fans: thank you for your attendance and for chanting my name, and you will see Muhannad in a different way.”<\/p>\n

Al-Shanqeeti congratulated his fellow players and the technical and administrative staff at Al-Ittihad on this victory, adding: “Congratulations to everyone. Praise be to God, this victory came by God’s grace, and God willing, the best is yet to come.” Regarding the distinguished fan attendance witnessed at the stadium, the player explained: “Praise be to God, this is all thanks to the help of my fellow players, and God willing, these things will be repeated.”<\/p>\n

Al-Shanqeeti spoke about receiving the Man of the Match award, which is one of his first personal achievements, saying: “Praise be to God, an indescribable feeling. Thank you to the fans who attended and chanted my name; I thank them one by one.” The player gave his explanation for Al-Ittihad achieving five consecutive victories, asserting: “We worked on many things during the break period, and thank God, we are applying them in matches.”<\/p>\n
