{"id":90072,"date":"2026-05-07T12:58:51","date_gmt":"2026-05-07T12:58:51","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/un-news.org\/?p=90072"},"modified":"2026-05-07T13:00:44","modified_gmt":"2026-05-07T13:00:44","slug":"border-guard-and-absher","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/un-news.org\/en\/border-guard-and-absher\/","title":{"rendered":"Border Guard launches new electronic services via the unified \u201cAbsher\u201d platform"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Under the patronage of His Royal Highness Prince \u201cAbdulaziz bin Saud bin Naif bin Abdulaziz\u201d, Minister of Interior, the Director General of the Border Guard, Major General Shaie bin Salem Al-Wadaani, inaugurated a set of services of the General Directorate of Border Guard through the Ministry of Interior\u2019s electronic platform (<a href=\"https:\/\/un-news.org\/en\/steps-for-issuing-a-final-exit-visa-through-absher-business\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Absher<\/a>) and the Border Guard electronic services portal (Zawal), at the headquarters of the directorate in Riyadh.<\/p>\n<p>The launched services include: the issuance of sailing permits for fishing, leisure, and rescue purposes via the Absher Individuals platform, which allows owners of marine vessels to issue sailing permits with the ability to view, extend, modify, or cancel them. The electronic diving permit service was also launched through the \u201cZawal\u201d portal on the Absher Business platform, enabling diving centers, divers, and marine vessel owners to issue and manage diving permits electronically in all their types, whether coastal diving or open-sea diving, for recreational or training purposes, in cooperation with the Saudi Water Sports and Diving Federation.
