Routine examinations amid official assurances of Trump\u2019s stable health despite previous concerning health indicators<\/strong><\/h2>\n

The White House announced that U.S. President Donald Trump will undergo his annual medical examination on May 26 at Walter Reed Medical Center.<\/p>\n

A White House statement explained that the examination will include the president\u2019s annual physical check-up and routine dental examination as part of regular preventive healthcare.<\/p>\n

Trump, who will turn 80 next month, continues to assure the press that he is in good mental and physical health, sometimes even without being asked about it.<\/p>\n

In October last year, Trump underwent his second comprehensive medical examination of 2025 and later announced that the results showed his heart and blood vessels were in \u201cexcellent\u201d condition.<\/p>\n

Concerning signs<\/p>\n

At the time, the White House released a letter from his physician, Sean Barbabella, stating that Trump\u2019s heart was \u201capproximately 14 years younger than his chronological age,\u201d noting that he \u201ccontinues to maintain his demanding daily schedule without any restrictions.\u201d<\/p>\n

Trump also underwent a semiannual examination last April. Since returning to office, Trump \u2014 who is among the oldest U.S. presidents at the time of taking the oath of office \u2014 has appeared with bruises on his right hand, sometimes covered with makeup.<\/p>\n

The White House indicated that these bruises were caused by his use of aspirin to maintain cardiovascular health.<\/p>\n

Last summer, the administration revealed that Trump underwent a medical examination due to swelling in his legs, where he was diagnosed with chronic venous insufficiency, a common condition that causes swelling and skin changes but can be managed with medication.<\/p>\n
