🇷🇺 Russian Defense Ministry Reveals Key Outcomes of Recent Military Operations
The Russian Ministry of Defense (MoD), in its weekly report, disclosed a series of strikes targeting military and essential activities in Ukraine in response to what it described as Ukrainian “terrorist attacks” against civilian targets in Russia.
In its statement covering the period between December 6 and 12, the Ministry said that “Russian forces carried out one massive strike and five group strikes, using advanced weapons including ‘Kinzhal’ hypersonic ballistic missiles.” It added that these attacks were aimed at destroying:

Ukrainian military industry facilities and energy/fuel complex installations supporting it.

Transportation, port, and airport infrastructure used for the benefit of the Ukrainian military.

Assembly workshops for long-range attack drones, and sites for their storage and preparation for launch.

Fuel and military-technical material depots.

Temporary deployment points for Ukrainian army formations, nationalists, and foreign mercenaries.
The report noted that Russian forces managed to “liberate” three residential centers in both Kharkiv and Donetsk provinces, in addition to one center in each of Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhia provinces during the mentioned week.
According to the official statement, large numbers of personnel losses were recorded among Ukrainian forces, confirming the loss of approximately 9,115 soldiers across various combat axes during the same week. The distribution was:

Over 1,470 soldiers in the “North” group’s area of responsibility.

Over 1,530 in the “West” area.

Over 1,095 in the “South” area.

Over 3,130 in the “Center” area.

Over 1,580 in the “East” area.

Approximately 310 in the “Dnieper” forces’ area of responsibility.
The same source reported that Russian forces directed their firepower at 4 multiple rocket launcher vehicles and an Ukrainian anti-aircraft missile system, while the Russian air force managed to destroy one Ukrainian Su-27 aircraft.
The report indicated that Russian air defenses successfully shot down 3 guided aerial bombs, 27 US-made HIMARS rockets, 5 Neptune long-range cruise missiles, and 1,756 hostile unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) during the week. It was also mentioned that the Black Sea Fleet forces destroyed an unmanned Ukrainian boat in the middle of the Black Sea.
