Severe flu season expected this winter with the emergence of a new variant
Dubai, UAE (United News Network – UNN) – The world is facing predictions of a severe flu season this winter, with declining vaccination rates and the involvement of a new variant of the influenza virus. Many experts suggest that the illness will not be limited to the individual but will significantly impact the community.
It is believed that the Thanksgiving holiday contributed significantly to the spread of multiple types of different diseases. Health experts confirm that the emergence of a new variant of the influenza virus, in addition to the decline in vaccination rates against the virus, will lead to a severe flu season, similar to last year, and perhaps worse.
