Execution of a Saudi citizen for drug promotion in the Riyadh region
Dubai, UAE (CNN) – The Saudi Ministry of Interior announced on Saturday the execution of a citizen in the Riyadh region by “discretionary killing” (Ta’zeer), according to a statement by the Ministry published by the Saudi Press Agency (SPA).
The Saudi Ministry of Interior stated in its announcement: “(Dahham bin Hamad bin Khalaf Al-Subaie Al-Anzi), a Saudi national, proceeded to import and receive narcotic amphetamine pills.”
The Ministry added: “By the grace of God, the security authorities were able to arrest the aforementioned perpetrator, and the investigation with him resulted in his being charged with committing the crime, and by referring him to the court…”
