Five Palestinians injured by Israeli gunfire and shelling in Gaza and the West Bank
Five Palestinian citizens were injured today by Israeli forces’ gunfire and shelling in the cities of Khan Younis and Gaza City, in a new violation of the declared ceasefire agreement.
The Palestinian news agency “Wafa” reported that two citizens were injured by occupation forces’ bullets in the town of Bani Suheila, east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip. Two other Palestinians sustained varying injuries from Israeli shelling targeting the same town.
The agency added that a youth was injured by occupation gunfire east of the Al-Tuffah neighborhood in eastern Gaza City.
According to “Wafa,” the toll of martyrs and injuries since the ceasefire agreement on October 11 has reached 395 martyrs and 1,088 injured, while 634 bodies have been recovered from under the rubble.
For their part, Palestinian medical sources reported that the number of victims of the Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip has risen to 70,669 martyrs and 171,165 wounded, including children, women, and entire families, as operations to recover the bodies of martyrs from under the rubble of destroyed homes and residential buildings continue in various areas of the Strip after two years of continuous aggression.
Medical sources indicated that one martyr and 13 injured arrived at Gaza Strip hospitals during the past 24 hours.
