Witnesses reported that the person involved in the incident is the brother of businessman Nasser Al-Prince, and he set himself on fire in front of the new restaurant that opened days ago, following emergency family disputes between him and his brother.
Nasser Al-Prince, the famous Egyptian businessman, is nicknamed the “King of Liver” and is the owner of the “Kebda El Prince” restaurant chain spread across Egypt. His restaurants gained wide fame, especially the former main branch in Imbaba, which held special importance and attracted elite celebrities, artists, and prominent athletes for over three decades, before it was closed in 2022 due to non-compliance with architectural requirements and regulatory safety standards.
In a development of events, the emergency operations room in Giza Governorate received an urgent report stating that a person had set himself on fire in a public place used as a branch of a famous restaurant in the Sheikh Zayed area. A strong security force, supported by a specialized ambulance, immediately moved to the scene of the incident to handle the situation and secure the area.
