Death Toll of the Imam Ali Mosque Explosion in Homs Rises to 8 Dead and 18 Wounded
Dubai (CNS) – The Ministry of Health in the current Syrian government announced that the number of victims of the explosion that occurred during Friday prayers at the Imam Ali bin Abi Talib Mosque in Homs has risen to 8 dead and 18 others with varying injuries, as reported by the official Syrian news agency “SANA.”
The ministry stated in an official announcement that the toll is “not final” and is currently expected to exceed this figure.
The ministry explained via its official channel on the “Telegram” platform that emergency, ambulance, and rapid response teams moved immediately after the incident to the site of the explosion. First aid was provided to the injured, who were then evacuated to nearby health and hospital centers for follow-up treatment and necessary medical intervention.
