Tarek, the brother of the late Egyptian President Gamal Abdel Nasser, filed a police report against a property owner in the Mohandessin area, accusing him of damaging his apartment door and attempting to evict him due to disputes related to an old lease contract.
The complainant revealed in the report that the door of the apartment where he has resided for many years under the old rent system was damaged in an attempt by the property owner to end his residency, despite his legal right to remain in the apartment according to the concluded contract.
The brother of President Gamal Abdel Nasser added that the incident resulted from his lack of agreement with the owner regarding the future of the residency in the apartment.
For their part, security sources explained that the competent authorities received the report of the incident and immediately proceeded to the scene to conduct a detailed inspection.
