Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian announced that any aggression directed against the country’s Supreme Leader, Ali Khamenei, will be considered a “comprehensive war” against Iran.
This came in response to President Donald Trump’s call to seek new leadership in Iran.
Pezeshkian posted a tweet on the X platform on Sunday, emphasizing that “the hardships faced by the Iranian people today are largely the result of the continuous hostility and inhumane sanctions imposed by the United States and its allies.”
The Iranian President added that any aggression against Supreme Leader Ali Khamenei “is considered a comprehensive war against the nation.”
